One persons idea of a healthy snack can differ greatly from another, but the common idea is that the snack is made with whole foods that aren’t highly processed. There are endless options to choose from, whether you are gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

There3 are certain criteria to follow when choosing a healthy snack. Make sure the food you choose is satisfying so that it meets your craving and keeps you from seeking out unhealthy options. Remember to not go over your portion size so that you stay within your calories for the day. Even tho it is healthier food, they are still calories that count towards your daily allotment of calories. Choose foods that are easy to grab quickly and are already prepared. This will reduce the chance of grabbing unhealthy options that will push you over your calories quickly.
