We love this recipe for its simplicity and amazing flavours that will satisfy any bbq expert’s desires. Beautifully cooked steak with mushrooms and peppers are a great combination that is both healthy and tasty.

Ingredients:

An 6oz New York cast ironed to a perfect medium and served sliced on a bed of garlic mushrooms finished with pesto butter and roasted peppers.

(2 servings recipe)

🌿6 oz sirloin

🌿2 cups raw button mushroom

🌿1 tbsp white onion

🌿1 tbsp green onion

🌿1 tsp fresh garlic

🌿1 tbsp chopped tomato

🌿1 tsp butter

🌿1 tsp basil pesto

🌿1/2 cup of a roasted bell pepper

🌿Tablespoon Fresh herb garnish

Based on 1 Servings: Calories: 536/Carbs: 28g / Protein: 65g / Fats: 19 g

Directions:

  • 🌿 season your steak and let rest at room temperature for 30 mins
  • 🌿 put the rest of the ingredients in a skillet on medium high heat to cook until browned 
  • 🌿 cook your steak to desired tenderness, let rest for 5 minutes afterwards
  • 🌿slice the steak and lay on a bed of the mushroom, onions and peppers on your plate
  • 🌿garnish with fresh herbs
